Air pollution kills 1.2 million people every year in India. The air in India is heavily polluted. It adds up for a variety of reasons. One of the causes of pollution is burning piles of garbage. We have heaps of garbage burning in cities, sometimes they catch fire by accident, whichcauses a huge amount of pollution. We refer to a pile of garbage as a mountain. When we see a similar pile of garbage burning, we say ‘run away if the mountain is on fire’ till the fire is extinguished. Our initiative continues every morning in and around Pune city. We are trying to reduce pollution through this. This is because burning garbage dumps account for 17% of India’s air pollution. We are struggling to reduce this pollution in our own way, and if you see a pile of garbage burning, make sure to extinguish it.and you can also support us by not burning the garbage, disposing it of properly.
