Sir Jagdish Chandra Bose has proved through his scholarly experiments that trees also have sensations. Just as we laugh, we cry, we feel happy, we feel sad, so do trees. Trees are nailed for a variety of reasons like advertisements, superstitions, banners etc.But we don’t think about how much pain those trees must be in. To understand the sensations of trees and make them pain-free, we started the ‘Nail-Free Tree’ initiative. It is also known as ‘Nail Free Tree, Pain Free Tree’. In this, we remove the nails of the trees and make the trees pain-free. So far, we have removed lakhs of nails. This initiative has been implemented in different cities including Pune, Mumbai.The initiative is still ongoing. Pune city will soon be declared as a city of nail-free trees. Let us also understand the sensations of trees and reduce their painwith more nail free tree cities.by actively participating in this initiative.
